You should be looking at a 24 x 96 bench seat with a 17 1 2 x 22 1 2 opening at each end for plants.
Select a location for your planter bench.
A good height for a bench is generally recognized at about 18.
Use 2 1 2 screws to secure the supports to the wall planters.
Attach 2 2 supports to the planters as shown in the plans.
Place the two pre made planter boxes in a desired location 6 feet apart.
To build each side clamp the pieces and attach a 2x6 brace which also acts as a cleat to hold the bottom pieces.
Drill pilot holes through the rim components and insert 2 1 2 screws into the 19 supports.
Cut the brace 2 inches shorter than the width of the side and attach it with screws.
All of the planks should be flush with the top of the bench frame.
The planters will serve as supports for the garden bench.
