I would reccommend a car wash they usually have pressure washers or machines they run mats through when detailing the cars. I once put a air filter housing into a dish washer and yes it did clean it up but it took about 6 washes to get the grease oil residue out o. Wash with a steam cleaner power wash or washing machine. You can also use a cleaner designed for car mats available in many auto shops or create your own.

You can also put car floor mats in your washing machine using your regular detergent. They get too much built in dirt for your washer dryer.
