Charcoal Grout Subway Tile

One recommendation would be to do cream subway tile with white grout.

White cabinets against white tile can be a tough balance but it s not impossible. Now there are endless colors even metallic and glitter are available. All for the memories. Dark grout in a similar tone to a dark tile will create a softer look while a light grout will bring out the tile pattern adding even more drama.

We have unusually dark brown limestone floors and dark wood work 1930 s house and wanted to keep things warm. When you use dark grout the grout becomes the focus of the tile. White will show stains.

In the example above the white subway tile and gray grout usage are on the wall size backsplash. There are even grout stains so you can change the color if you change your mind. The grout itself isn t exactly cheap but spending 50 on grout now to get it right is well. We used white subway tile and charcoal grout.
